Bethesda has just released the first trailer to the first downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls Skyrim titled Dawnguard.
Dawnguard will focus on the vampire storyline. Vampires take center stage in the plot as their fraction looks to blot out the very sun using The Elder Scrolls. You can choose to join the vampires in this goal gaining access to some cool abilities and transformations. I saw a scary vampire transformation where the character, not sure if only NPC’s, turned into bats and they all flew away.
You can of choose to join the vampire hunters instead. Not sure yet but it looks like they have access to phantom horses and crossbows. They also have a castle that looks like something similar to the Tolkien style.
Along with this release will be the long awaited combat while horse riding. Looks like so much will be added in this release and I can’t wait to play it.
Dawnguard will be available to XBOX Live this summer 2012 for a small 1600 Microsoft Points.
