What can I say? I love the Blade series. Wesley Snipes was meant for this role. Ass kicking plus vampire horror action, sweet! This installment puts Blade in a really bad predicament. Now Blade is sought after by vampires and humans. Good old Whistler has Blades back until Whistler becomes incapacitated. Now its Blade against the…

We only accept certain people in my sorority-no fullblooded vampires allowed. Psi Phi is just like any sorority on campus-except for the part about them being half-blood vampires. Mastery
This is definitely one of my favorite all time horror/vampire books. It starts out with a group of vampires that get together ever year to tell stories of they're conquests and proceeds on from there. The ride never lets go after that. I read it in one sitting, incredible.
Planet of the Vampires
(2001)
Italian horror master Mario Bava brought his considerable skills to bear on this hypnotic genre hybrid, creating one of the most eerily atmospheric science fiction films ever made. A spaceship is lured to a mysterious planet, where members of its crew are slaughtered, and their bodies possessed by a near-extinct alien race--a minimalist plot, to be sure, but in the hands of Bava and cinematographer Antonio Rinaldi, Planet of the Vampires (the best-known of this film's many titles) is a near-masterpiece…
John Carpenter's Vampires
(1998)
Talk about an opening. The first few minutes of John Carpenter's Vampires--in which James Woods's vampire killer leads a dawn raid on a New Mexico "goon nest" of bloodsuckers--not only suggests a horror movie that will not pull any punches, it even evokes some of the more disturbing dream-memories of American Westerns. Muscular and uncompromised, the sequence suggests a new Carpenter classic unraveling before one's eyes. Well, dream on. Things don't quite work out that…
