X2: X-Men United
(2003)
X-men 2 is a far better installment then the last X-men. It had more depth and more characters. I loved the action scenes and the movie had overall locations. Unlike the comics, Lady Deathstrike wasn't Wolverines ex-girlfriend which might have added extra depth but I guess it would have subtracted from the action in order to introduce this. I thought that she was introduced beautifully and she was a real bad-ass and put up a good fight. Mystic was written better and the beautiful Rebecca Romijn-Stamos…

At the top of the charts, The Annas have two number-one hits. The endless talent and callous intrigue of Anna Dubower peaks in a passionate affair with…

X-Men Collection (X-Men/X2 - X-Men United - Edition)
(2003)
X-Men It's a rare comic-book movie that doesn't fall over its cape introducing all the characters, and X-Men is the exception, dropping us into a world that is closer to our own than Batman's Gotham City, but is still home to super-powered heroes and villains. Opening in high seriousness with paranormal activity in a World War II concentration camp and a senatorial inquiry into the growing "mutant problem", Bryan Singer's film sets up a complex background with economy…

Blood Car
(2007)
A kindergarten teacher invents a car that runs on human blood to combat high gas prices in BLOOD CAR, a horror/comedy from first time director Alex Orr. In the first feature film from Fake Wood Wallpaper Films, narrative conventions and predictable, by-the-book plotlines are left behind in favor of an absurdist look at a future in which no one drives due to $40-a-gallon gasoline prices. Both a satire on our voracious habit for oil as well as a cleverly structured horror film, BLOOD CAR will make…
