Hellraiser 6 (VI): Hellseeker
(2002)
What is this? I mean this is not Hellraiser. One thing the film makers should realize is that Hellraiser is not suppose to be a slasher film. What made Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 excellent. Pinhead isn't suppose to be like Michael Myers, Freddy, or Jason. He's more that just that. Kristy wasn't even in the movie that much. Neither was Pinhead. This was a horror movie but not a Hellraiser movie. But the ending was really cool though. The last 20 minutes were the best. I…
Hellraiser 3 (III): Hell on Earth
(1992)
Hellraiser3/Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth was another good entry in the Hellraiser series. While the film has little in common with the first except for a cameo by Ashley Laurence it's good in its own right. Hellraiser 3 takes a different approach and succeeds. Terry Farrell ( sexy as hell) gives a good performance and it's good to see a early Paula Marshall. The film has some scares and introduces a few new Cenboites including ".CD" With a tit shot and nice scares. Hellraiser…
Hellraiser - Hellworld
(2005)
Hellraiser - Hellworld, experience a real-life nightmare in this all-new and totally unique chapter in the terrifying and insanely popular Hellraiser series created by horror master Clive Barker. Starring Lance Henriksen (ALIENS, SCREAM 3) -- and once again Doug Bradley as the infamous Hellraiser Pinhead! When five hardcore internet gamers are invited to a special party thrown by the website HELLWORLD, they are about to endure a night of unspeakable terror they believed only existed in cyberspace!…
Hellraiser 4 (IV): Bloodline
(1996)
They should have stopped with the third one. This movie was so bad. Some of the F/X was pretty cool but the movie period isn't worth watching. It just wasnt as good as the frist three movies. And whats the deal with that Princess. Like I dont want to see her, I wanted to see Pinhead. But I guess if you like the Hellraiser movies you might like this one. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes the Hellraiser movie or a horror movie.

Hellraiser 5 (V): Inferno
(2000)
Hellraiser: Inferno was a really twisted, creepy movie. The flashing lights, pools of blood, and spooky hallways really add up to the suspense and fear. The whole atmosphere of the movie was twisted and off the wall. The acting is done very well, and the directing wasn't bad. But, if you want to be completely freaked out you must watch this movie! I give Hellraiser: Inferno a 5 out of 10.
Hellraiser 7 (VII): Deader
(2004)
Hellraiser: Deader is better than the last installment, but thats not saying much. At work this past Tuesday, we got in a screener tape, i watched it and found i liked it more than i thought i would. Despite the massive amounts of gore/sex/violence, its painfully obvious that this was shot on a low budget. The movie runs 84 minutes, and if your expecting to see more of Pinhead, you will be let down because his screen time is limited.
Hellraiser 2 (II): Hellbound
(1989)
You don't have to believe in Hell to enjoy this movie, but it would help. This is the nastiest, goriest, meanest entry in the "Hellraiser" series. Depravity abounds. This one was my favorite. I love seeing movies try to imagine what Hell is really like. Having a belief in the afterlife would definitely make the flick scarier. If you don't believe in Hell at all, I can see how most of the movie would look a little silly. The Hell effects are not that great. They worked well on…
Hellraiser
(1988)
Hellraiser has to be one of the most gory movies of all time. I mean full on body mutilations and bloody deaths galore. Clive Barker was nuts when he came out with this one. Demons from Hell unleashed upon the earth and the first thoughts on their minds are to kill everything and anything in sight. These devils manipulate you into doing evil deeds then once their soul has been corrupted to the dark, they claim your soul. Pinhead is the leader and he loves making humans suffer and relishes in it.…

The Naked And The Undead
In this book, Cynthia Freeland seeks to counter both aesthetic disdain and moral condemnation toward horror by focusing on a select body of important and revealing films, demonstrating how the genre is capable of deep philosophical reflection about the existence and the nature of evil-both human and cosmic. In exploring these films, Freeland argues against a purely psychoanalytic approach and opts for both feminist and philosophical understandings. Freeland is particularly interested in showing…
