Just stumbled across this flick in a cheap 3-disk horror collection, and was startled to find that I remembered the ending being one of the first scenes in a horror movie I'd ever seen (snuck in when mum was watching heh!) Nostalgic qualities aside, The Demon was actually quite enjoyable. NO, you will not find FAST-PACED NON-STOP SLASHING AND BUCKETS OF BLOOD!!!!! (Haw!)...the one element I like most about effective 70's horror films is the RESTRAINT applied; music and lighting and ATMOSPHERE…

(1967 aka TORTURE CHAMBER OF DR. SADISM) - Christopher Lee, Karin Dor, Lex Barker. Beheadings, virgins, straps, and corpses. What else do you need to know about this movie? An outrageous film that's a must-see for Chris Lee fans. A great supporting cast.
I really enjoyed "Dispatch," "The Store" and some other books by Bentley Little. He is outrageous and over-the-top (the demon-run Store starts selling adult s-- products on the toy aisle). I enjoyed "The Policy," too (demon characters sell insurance that you can't refuse). "The Academy" is great satire, but I laughed so much that I couldn't suspend belief and accept it as a scary story. I stopped reading after a 180 pages. It just got too over-the-top.…

Demon Eyes (Leisure Fiction)
"Reviewer" Harriet Klausner giving this book 5 stars shows me she either did not read it, or she is certifiably insane. Although much of this book was fun to read, a lot really didn't make sense, even the small details. For instance, both Helen and Emma have decent jobs and although the livery/stable where Helen works is supposedly flourishing with business, the two can't afford to pay their gas and electric bills. People spoke and acted very oddly to each other, overreacting,…
