Blade accidentally kills a human while believing him to be a "suck-head." On top of all this, the murder is caught in full on tape and given to the authorities. Now Blade is sought after by vampires and humans. Good old Whistler has Blades back until Whistler becomes incapacitated. Now its Blade against the…

Blade is a great adaptation of a not so great comic book character Blade. Blade movie setting is in a modern day city type where vampires are the "in crowd". There is only one being, half-vampire and half-human, that can stop one lunatic vampire from destroying the world in his wake, that hero is Blade. I love the opening sequence and that is my all time favorite opening as it shows what a badass Blade is.

A hilarious and affectionate parody of both the Star Wars films and the Oscar-winning Shakespeare in Love, George Lucas in Love provides more wit and intelligence in eight minutes that most full-length feature films do in 90. It's 1967, and George Lucas (Martin Hynes) is only three days from graduating from film school. The "agricultural space tragedy" he's been working on isn't going well at all. Taunted by his asthmatic rival (who wears a black cape), flummoxed by his…

Whenever you get into the PG-13 world you are going to get a much more friendly and watered down film with less brutal movie. Reality and financing dictates that the movie studios have to appeal to a broader audience when possible to make enough money to allow the films I mentioned previously. I am not familiar with…
