Dead Space 3 will release this upcoming February 5, 2013 and it looks like a great horror game already from this trailer. January 22, 2013 will be the release for the demo. The trailer is packed with game footage plus first hand testimonials of the Kinect features (voice commands). This just increases the game value of this installment to the franchise.

From the producers of District 9 comes Haunt. This upcoming horror movie will be coming out this October 11, 2013. Mac Carter directs Haunt and Jacki Weaver, Liana Liberato and Harrison Gilbertson stars. Not much to go on yet but let us see what comes later when the trailer is released.

The Last Exorcism franchise is hitting back with The Last Exorcism 2. The horror movie will be coming soon this upcoming March 1, 2013. Take a look at the new movie poster below and you can’t deny the gripping captivating impressions it leaves you with. The character is bended into he number “2”. I will check this one out but I am not keeping my hopes up too high on this one.

Warner Bros’ adaptation of Beautiful Creatures will be coming to theaters this upcoming February 13, 2013. I for one am looking forward to seeing this one and I am a bit hopeful that it will be good. This horror film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Alice Englert, Jeremy Irons, Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum and Emma Thompson.

Mike Mendez‘s (The Convent, The Gravedancers) Mega Spider is looking great and from the photo, they are going big. Mega Spider is hitting the city big like King Kong did. Fighting the huge 10 story spider beast are Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Alias) and Lombardo Boyar (The Bernie Mac Show), who star as Alex, an exterminator, and Jose, his security guard sidekick, respectively. These misfit heroes team up with an elite military unit that includes genre vets Clare Kramer (The Gravedancers) and Ray Wise (X-Men: First Class, Twin Peaks).

Texas Chainsaw 3D hits theaters this upcoming January 4, 2013. Here are two more photos for this upcoming horror movie. Sad to say I was never a real fan of the franchise but maybe I will try this reboot out.

Justin Benson‘s Resolution has gotten good reviews on it’s latest festival run. Resolution will get a limited theatrical run starting January 25, 2013. Also, Resolution will get the VOD treatment as well becoming available this upcoming January 23, 2013 thanks to Tribeca Film.

James Wan‘s The Conjuring has a release date set for this upcoming July 19, 2013. The synopsis leads you to think that this horror movie will be even better then the Amityville demon movies. Patrick Wilson (Insidious) will star in another horror film that may leave a lasting impression. Also starring is Vera Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Foy, Joey King, Hayley McFarland, Joe Bishara, and Shanley Caswell.

Thanks to the success of The Walking Dead TV series, zombie movies, games and books are saturating the market. Zombie Trilogy The Epidemic is the first part of the proposed trilogy. The horror film will begin shooting in Toronto, Canada. The franchise is created by Nigel Hartwell.

V/H/S sequel S-VHS plot details are live and weird as usual. Also, take a look at the creepy looking dude in the photo with all the markings all over his body. The markings are bloody and just plane disturbing, I like. Be on the lookout for S-VHS on Park City At Midnight at the Sundance Film Festival this upcoming January 2013.
