The Canadian succubus show ‘Lost Girl’ has been acquired by Syfy. After a successful season 1, Syfy picked Lost Girl up for season 2 while also attaining the rights to air season 1 and season 2 domestically.

Talk about evil female demons, The Devil’s Rock is about two commandos who discover a Nazi occult plot to unleash demonic forces to win the war.

HBO TV Series True Blood fans or any kind of vampire fans, are definitely waiting for True Blood Season 4. Teaser shows witches vs vampires. True Blood will be packed with vampires, werewolves, witches, fairies, shapeshifters and surprise monsters to be revealed soon.

Opening June 23, 2011 is Malaysian horror Rasuk which is looking to be a very scary Exorcist update. This horror film is tagged as a horror/comedy but the trailer shows no trace of comedy. Some evil demonic being has possessed Melati and the trailer is shaping up to be a really scary horror movie. I can’t wait to see this one.

Jonathan Glendenning’s Stripper vs. Werewolves cast includes Robert Englund. Everyone loves the work that Englund did with A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger and Englund will be a perfect match here.

We Are the Night is about 20 year old Lena who meets 250 year old Louise. Not only the owner of the club that Lena set out to rob but also the leader of a group of vampire vixens. Louise falls in love with Lena at first sight and transforms Lena into a vampire through the cursed bite. The girls have a good time in Berlin attracting the police commissioner to their blood lust.

Fairy tale themed “Grimm” has been added to the NBC line up. Grimm will air Friday nights at 9/8c.

Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton are onboard as casts of Neil Jordan’s Byzantium. Neil Jordan’s last vampire movie was Interview with the Vampire.

Dimension Films and Miramax started production on The Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes. Production will start this summer with a release date for January 27, 2012.

Lionsgate will be releasing Goblin on July 26th. Goblin is directed by Jeffery Scott Lando, and stars Gil Bellows, Tracy Spiridakos, Camille Sullivan, and Donnelly Rhodes. Following in the Halloween tradition where some folk decorate their homes while others throw huge parties. Some people like tossing hideously deformed children into raging bonfires.

DreamWorks Pictures has released their Fright Night Trailer starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant, Imogen Poots and Toni Collette. The remake will be released August 19 and directed by Craig Gillespie.

Sector 7 is Korea’s 3D creature feature about a creature from the ocean that attacks an oil rig. The teaser trailer delivers some great scenes although they are in Korean. Centered on a group of workers on the oil rig named the ‘Eclipse’ are terrorized by a underwater sea creature.

Lance Preston played by Sean Rogerson and the crew of Grave Encounters shoot an episode inside an abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital. Grave Encounters is a ghost hunting team who investigate paranormal unexplained phenomena.
