House at the End of the Street is looking to be a great horror movie coming this September 21, 2012. They have just released a huge 10 photo movie still gallery giving us some pics as the relationship begins to form between the two. The horror film is directed by Mark Tonderai. The movie stars Elisabeth Shue, Jennifer Lawrence, Max Thieriot and Gil Bellows. Definitely an upcoming movie you should keep on your radar.

Autumn Moon is a new werewolf movie on the upcoming movie list. The teaser poster tagline “even a man that’s pure of heart” leaves a little to be imagined. The werewolf looks a little rough around the edges and hopefully that shows on screen in some savage kill scenes. Currently the horror film is in pre-production with Randy Fabert set to direct and star. Set to star in Autumn Moon is Joe Kidd, Randy Fabert, Nathan Grauwelman, Iabou Windimere, Jocelyn Tanis, Richard Aughpin, Larry Combs, Gerri Sutyak, Sonny Burnette and Michael Peake.

Camera Phone is the latest found footage horror movie coming soon in 2012. What makes this one different is that all the footage is recorded on camera phones from a group of individuals. If I am being plagued by supernatural entities, I will not be holding a camera phone so expect no camera footage from me. Anyway, let’s see what Camera Phone has to offer. From the trailer we see some body contortions, although meager at best. The poster looks okay but a little funny in my opinion, I couldn’t help but chuckle every time I saw it. V/H/S seems like a kind of Creepshow where we are viewing the horror movies within the horror movie. V/H/S seems fresh in a sense though. Some local bad guys must break into a house and retrieve rare found footage from the house. Upon entering the house, they find a lifeless body surrounded by a huge assortment of VHS tapes. They begin watching the videos looking for the right one.

Branded is the horror movie every movie fan of giant monsters is waiting for. I look at Branded and can’t help but think of Lovecrafts Cthulhu. Monsters sharing our world hidden in plain sight and behind some kind of veil. The one-sheet poster has 4 unique QR codes plus more in the trailer, website, social pages and other publicity materials. Branded will take QR codes to new heights and the entire marketing campaign will include 100 unique QR codes in all. I love the direction they are taking with this upcoming horror movie and can’t wait for more.

Alien Fear looks awesome. Alien Fear is powered by the Unreal Engine 3 and looks like they did a great jobs with graphics. Alien Fear is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation this upcoming Fall 2012. The environments are said to be explosive and the gameplay is non-stop action. Alien Fear will also have co-operative play will definitely make this a favorite among gamers who like to play together.

Syfy has confirmed that they will be making a Lost Girl Season 3. This comes as no surprise as it is the #1 cable drama among adults 18-49 and 25-54 in it’s time period. Season 3 will have 13 episodes and begins January 2013.

They Come by Night teaser poster looks gruesome indeed. The creatures will dine on human flesh. Are the creatures demons or some other kind of monster? Who knows but lets see what happens in upcoming months. The horror film will star Pressly Parrish, Darryl Merpaw, Alaycia Leigh, Jackie Kobsar and Sophia Mora. Filming will begin this July 2012.

The Soska sisters’ just released a new teaser poster for their new horror movie American Mary. The teaser poster features Katherine Isabelle. American Mary stars Katharine Isabelle is Antonio Cupo, Tristan Risk, David Lovgren, Paula Lindberg, and Twan Holliday.

Creepy Crawly details are slim but we have news from the press release. A terrible creature is hungry for human flesh. Creepy Crawly is a new short film. The film will mark the first collaboration between indie horror filmmakers Robert J. Massetti and Jason Daly.

The Walking Dead Season 3 is one of the most anticipated TV shows in the horror genre. AMC is currently filming The Walking Dead and we will be introduced to a large set of new characters. One particular character is David Morrissey as The Governor.

Screen Gems just released two new stills for Resident Evil: Retribution. The stills are not all that and do not giveaway anything but being a big fan of the series, a little goes a long way. I am like the kid at the candy store screaming “give me more”.

Prometheus is still set to play in the U.S. but we already have artwork for the Prometheus Blu-ray & DVD covers. The Blu-ray copy of course will feature 3D. The Blu-ray & DVD have no official release date yet. Amazon.com has a deal to watch the Prometheus movie in theaters for free. This coupon is good up to $10 and will be available to the first 5,000 customers who pre-order the Prometheus Blu-ray version of the movie. The ticket will be valid starting June 8, 2012 to August 31, 2012.

The Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel has been finally named “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”. This upcoming movie is set to hit theaters May 23, 2014.
