Summary: The Hole is shaping up to be a great horror movie in the likes of The Gate. Joe Dante is the same guy who brought us horror movie greats like Gremlins and The Howling. The Hole is written by Mark Smith (Vacancy) and tells the tale of two brothers who stumble upon a mysterious hole in the middle of their basement that seems endless when looked into. Similar to the abyss. The Hole reveals the deepest darkest fears of all those who look into it.
