Review of Halloween H20 - Twenty Years Later (Dimension Collector's Series)

This seventh movie (directed by Steve Miner) in the Halloween franchise takes the storyline of the series in yet another new direction, choosing to ignore the fourth, fifth, and sixth installments and picking up after the second. Still following? If you are, this movie also features the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, who has changed her name and now works as the headmistress of a private school. The overall movie tends to repeat the events of the original (again) with the inclusion of Josh Hartnett as Laurie's son. The violence is a little lacking and predictable. I personally think this was a bad entry and did nothing for the series, but audiences generally thought it ok.
