Review of Halloween - The Curse of Michael Myers

  • For pulse-pounding suspense and relentless thrills, nothing can match HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS -- one of the most frightening chapters in the chilling HALLOWEEN series! In a single horrifying night, Michael Myers' masked reign of terror changed Halloween forever! Now, six years after he was presumed dead in a fire, Myers has returned to kill again -- and this time there's no escape! As the homicidal fury builds to a spine-tingling cliimax, the long-hidden secrets of the screen's most maniacal murderer are revealed ... with shocking results! Starring a thrilling cast including legendary Donald Pleasence (HALLOWEEN, THE ADVOCATE) and Paul Rudd (THE CIDER HOUSE RULES, CLUELESS).
    Description
  • The series premise continues to stretch so thin it could dissipate. This time, Michael Myers chases his unfortunate niece around, then goes after a family who happen to be living in his former home. This is slasher-ism at its most cynical, and a thoroughly unpleasant, unimaginative, and unredeeming movie. Donald Pleasence, the one holdover from the original film, looks like he'd rather be anywhere than in this thing. --Tom Keogh

this movie was badass, and they kind of screwed up by saying that michael killed because of a spell or something like that they shouldv'e left it a mystery so that they would have made it more dark and gloomy nothing of that satanic-celtic-wicca crap.

Good but why didn't they get Danielle Harris back as Jamie Lloyd, I mean all she asked for to renew her role was 5000 dollars, I Just can't believe that. But other than that H6 was good

I loved this part in the series more than the later parts with Jamie Lee Curtis. The direction of taking you from the baby sacrifice (THOR) to the macabre ending was a brilliant masterpiece. I have watched this movie at least 25 times and I like it more eveytime I watch it.
P.S. The redhead kept it very interesting throughout. Too bad there wasn't any true naked scenes with her.

i LOVE the whole halloween series.. i wish they didnt do freddy vs jason.. it should have been michael vs jason because 1. they're both kind of like in many ways 2. both done by john carpenter and 3. it would be more interesting... Michael and Jason both have the same characteristics if you watch closely and they are both WONDERFUL characters!!!!!!!!!!
