Panic in the year zero
Great price, super speedy delivery, totally satisfied. Condition perfect and definitely a memory from the past! A great period piece and Sci Fi at it's "neatest!"

Panic in Year Zero DVD Review
An interesting movie starred and directed by Ray Milland, which is ruined by an awful and inappropriate musical score. The black-and-white 2.35:1 widescreen DVD is of very good quality.

GREAT DOUBLE FEATURE WITH SUPERB QUALITY PRINTS!
I never saw either of these films in my youth and considering how much I love these types of movies, it astonishes me! I watched 'The Last Man On Earth' a while back and while I found it very good, it did have some unintended laughable moments in it. Price is terrific as the title character and this film follows the book 'I Am Legend' most accurately. The print on this DVD is just beautiful and presented in widescreen. There is also a short featurette with Richard Matheson who wrote the book 'I Am Legend' and something I was not aware of....the screenplay for this movie under the pseudonym Logan Swanson! He also wrote the screenplay for one of the greatest Sci-Fi films ever made,'The Incredible Shrinking Man'. Although the featurette is embarrassingly short (7 minutes), I found it very interesting.
The second film 'Panic In The Year Zero' is one of the most intelligent Sci-Fi flicks I've ever seen! It was refreshing to see one of these old Sci-Fi movies where the characters react like "real people"! Ray Milland stared and directed this little known gem and it is well worth the price of the DVD on it's own. Frankie Avalon has a large role as Milland's son, there isn't a beach in site and he doesn't sing a note! A rarity for Mr. Avalon for sure. The two for one deal here should not be passed up by any Sci-Fi or Horror fan. The DVD transfer of this film is as sharp as the other film. It's a fantastic deal for the two early classics.

Buy it.
I purchased this dvd to get a better transfer of "Last Man on Earth." Both films are quality transfers with clear picture and sound. Last Man is the best iteration of Matheson's "I am Legend." Price, as usual, is fantastic. Panic was entertaining and worthy of repeat viewings. Both films are excellent and worth the price.

Great survival film.
This is the kind of film that makes you think about what you might do in similar circumstances.
