Voyage Into Fear 2002 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
Plagued by recurring nightmares about the deaths of her parents and younger brother, Madaline Carr (Kate Raison) is urged by her husband (Martin Sacks) to confront her past. The couple travel back to the place where Madaline’s family died in an automobile accident when she was just a girl. Along the way, Madaline is haunted by visions (a ghost?) of her long-deceased brother, Thomas. After their BMW gets stuck in the mud in the middle of nowhere, Mr. Carr goes for help, leaving Madaline alone for hours. A strange man (Martin Vaughn) arrives and seems a bit too helpful. This is where the movie shifts from mystery to thriller, as Madaline grows increasingly desparate and paranoid. What I liked most about VOYAGE INTO FEAR is that we are given two mysteries to solve, one in the past and another in the present. Madaline must ultimately face the horrible truth about her childhood as well as her current situation. There are definitely some satisfying twists at the end! So, if you enjoy suspense / mysteries, then give this one a go…
