Friday the 13th Part 7 VII: The New Blood 1988 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
Friday the 13th Part 7 (VII): The New Blood, although the story itself is different from other Friday the 13th movies and has a lot of potential, this movie still only immitates previous titles in the series. Jason Vorhees, still at the bottom of Crystal Lake, is released by a teenager with telekinetic abilities. Jason begins another killing spree, using everything from his trusty machete to a little plastic party horn. Finally, Friday the 13th Part 7 (VII): The New Blood comes to an unsatisfying climax when a confrontation between the telekinetic girl and Jason ensues. While the story is lame, there are other reasons to watch this one. Kane Hodder dons the hockey mask for the first time in this entry, and the way Jason looks in this one is just amazingly grotesque. This isn’t the best Friday the 13th in the series, but it’s far from the worst.
