Friday the 13th Part 3 III 1982 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
Friday the 13th Part 3 (III), picking up exactly where part two ended, Jason Vorhees continues his reign of bloodshed and terror in this 3-D installment of the Friday the 13th series. Yes, Friday the 13th Part 3 (III) was in 3-D, but Steve Miner (director) never really does anything with this effect (except the eyeball popping out at the screen). Also, Jason discards his worn old pillow case and sports a stylish hockey mask for the first time. Other than that, this is just a tired retread of the previous two films, with the murders being sneaky and some from a first person point of view (like we don’t know it’s Jason??). However, instead of regular old camp counselors, Jason’s killing average, everyday pot-smoking, sex-crazed teens on a weekend retreat. As with the previous two, the last twenty or so minutes of the movie consists of the only girl left alive running in circles from the killer. Still, as old as this scenario gets, these movies are still good fun and the fans can’t get enough.
