The Faceless Monster 2003 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
This Barbara Steele programmer has her in two roles. The wife who is murdered for cheating on her sicko husband and a blond who comes back to life haunt the hubby. It has a couple of shocking gore scenes (the film is black and white but the gore scenes still shock). You have to like International horror to really enjoy the gothic flavor it offers. As for the DVD that Retromedia put out - it is uncut & widescreen but grainy - soft looking transfer
GREAT NEWS - Severin films has found an original negative and is going to release a remastered print under the Nightmare Castle title sometime in 2009. It will be worth the wait to get a super clean uncut print of this,so if you want it,or dont own it, or have never seen it -rent it and if you like it wait for the 2009 release. I expect that Severin films will have a pristine print of this coming up this year & will be the best transfer from all of the releases.
