Macabre 2001 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
This one isn’t a real mover but it does have a strong plot and is conveyed in a coherent manner. The film is very atmospheric and the indoor shots are very well-done, a problem with a lot of the horror genre. I enjoyed the flick, hoping that it was scored by Les Baxter, but I’m still not sure that he did this one. In any case, I have a short attention span and I’m pretty generally intolerant of horror films but Macabre is pretty darn watchable, maybe not quite as good as Angel Heart which was a higher-budget movie. Not for the kiddies, given a central sexual tension theme, but fine for the average adult movie goer. I recommend it.
