Evidence (2013) Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review[ Movie Page: Evidence (2013) ]
Evidence was an amazingly good movie that I would watch again. I totally did not expect the ending for the killer to be… well you have to watch the movie to see who the killer/killers are. Evidence got me reeled in from the very beginning. I love this movie and believe the actors and actresses did a great job with their parts. It was so believable and realistic. Throughout the movie I kept on guessing who the killer is and my last guess which was about 20 minutes toward the ending was right. I could not believe that all the killing was basically for the fun of it and to fulfill a dream. It was kind of sick but then again it is a movie and I found it to be different from other movies. It seems like an under budget film but storyline was great and makes up for that.
Director Olatunde Osunsanmi (The Fourth Kind, The Cavern, Etat) is also a producer and actor and did an extraordinary good job with the suspense factor in this movie. Evidence contains gore, fire, profanity, intense moments, suspense, thrills, and detectives going crazy trying to figure out who the killer is. Osunsanmi did a good job starting this movie with a bus accident at an abandoned deserted gas station that went up in flames and left charred bodies behind for investigators to find out what happened and caused the accident. Also to identify the bodies. The detectives have to use forensic found footage videos to identify what may seem as a serial killer from the images and videos from the victim’s cellphone and camera.
I gave this movie an 8 because it deserved it and I was amazed at the psychotic killers. It was packed with suspense and action and did I mention it was filled with gory moments also. At the end of the movie, I was oh and ahhh because then I saw all the clues coming together so therefore if I had paid attention to all of what had been said in the movie then it would of had more of an impact on me. I must admit, I jumped a quite a bit during this movie and I found it funny because it means the movie did what it is supposed to do for an action horror movie. It really wowed me to see who the true killers are, how could they kill three men, how did they manage, how did they plan it all to the last detail - so many questions I was asking myself. It is a must watch movie on my list for all viewers of action and horror films.
A detective hunts down a killer using video footage shot by the victims of a massacre at an abandoned gas station.
