Cornered 2010 Horror Movie Review

I watched Cornered via “Fios on Demand” and thought I’ll give it a watch,I love slasher movies and the preview looked promising.

Steve Guttenberg being in the cast also gave me a little more false hope.

A serial killer targets liquor stores then takes the security tapes and gets off on the kills.

The plot is basically He"the killer” is in one particular liquor store unbeknown to the staff while they describe one by one how they would kill and torture him if he were at their mercy.

The gang is staying for the weekend poker game in the back of the store,you have a heroin addict in dire need of a fix,a phone sex operator who has phone sex while playing cards and other colorful characters,so he starts picking them off one by one and doing to them what he heard them say they would have done to him. .Too bad the story was poorly executed.The kills are cheaply done and most of the kills are off camera.It could have really been great had they put forth more effort .It seemed like they said let’s make a slasher movie and they shot it in one day.The killer was somewhat unique and the story as well.To bad it didn’t deliver.
