The Glass Cage 2008 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
(1964) Arline Sax, John Hoyt, Robert Kelljan, King Moody, Elisha Cook, Jr. Wow! A really weird psychological horror film. Hoyt and Kelljan play detectives investigating Sax for the strange slaying of a local businessman. Moody is the twisted artist who knows more than he’s telling. Cook is the mysterious man with the cane who haunts Sax’s bizarre delusions. This film, while cheap and crude in places, features some wonderful delusional sequences with Sax, who looks and acts much like Candace Hilligoss from CARNIVAL OF SOULS. This forgotten b&w obscurity is very engrossing and should appeal to anyone interested in the psycho-horror genre of the early ‘60s. Definitely recommended. From 35mm.
