This DVD is a classic horror triple feature! You’ll shreik in your popcorn! The Tell-Tale Heart- black & white- Gothic horror film based loosely on the famous short story by the legendary Edgar Allan Poe. Laurence Payne plays Edgar Marsh, a timid man hopelessly in love with the beautiful flower girl. Sadly, Edgar is too sheepish to woo her himself, so he enlists the services of his best friend, Carl. Carl does manage to win the girl’s heart, but for himself. When Edgar learns of this betrayal, horrible things take place, resulting in what seems to be the still beating heart of Carl’s lifeless corpse under the floorboards! The Manster-black & white-An American reporter, Larry Stanford, is in Japan interviewing an odd scientist about his weird biological experiments. Unwittingly, Larry becomes the doctor’s next subject, and soon Larry’s repressed animal nature comes to the surface. He evolves from happily married man, to cheater, to woman attacker, to a 2 headed monster, and finally he splits in two! The Vampire Bat-black and white-Who knows more about vampires than Dwight Frye? He appeared as Renfield in the classic Dracula with Bela Lugosi. This time the villagers suspect Dwight is the vampire that’s apparently been plaguing the town. Also on hand is Fay Wray of King Kong fame and veteran actor Lionel Atwill as the scientist. It’s a murder mystery filled with fright!
