The Deer Hunter 2009 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
“The Deer Hunter” is the epitome of Oscar-bait. Michael Cimino’s character-driven Vietnam War era epic doesn’t disappoint. At just over 3 hours in running time, “The Deer Hunter” flies by. It took home Best Picture and Christopher Walken walked off with the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in his depressing turn as “Nick”- who never goes back home following the war. His performance is literally death defying. John Cazale also delivers a powerful performance which, sadly, was his last.
