Sacred Flesh (2009) Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
Controversial director and Redemption Films founder, Nigel Wingrove (Visions of Ecstasy, Satanic [**]s I, II & III), the vanguard of the fight against British censorship, brings you an unholy slice of sexploitation with this contemporary nun-fest, Sacred Flesh!
Starring scream queen Eileen Daly (Razor Blade Smile), Sacred Flesh toils with themes of repressed sexuality and sin, as the Mother Superior of a medieval convent is tormented by lust and torn on her vows of chastity. Taunted by visions of Mary Magdalene, who reveals the confessions of the younger nuns at the convent, the Mother Superior’s mind is filled with the violent, sexual acts of her fellow sisters masturbating, embroiled in steamy lesbian encounters, molested by priests and even kidnapping and crucifying a rival nun!
Special features include audio commentary with director Nigel Wingrove, stills gallery, behind the scenes and an exclusive featurette on Nunsploitation
