Demons 2: The Nightmare Returns 1986 Horror Movie Review

As you’ve probably heard, this is more or less the original movie done again. However, it’s a pretty hollow sequel. Sure, there’s lots of blood and gore, but it has even less of a plot than the original. The little plot there is has a lot of plot holes; just *how*, for example, did a lousy TV broadcast start the phenomenon? And what happened to that subplot about the youths in the car, and the guy waiting outside for them?



But what’s worse is the extreme stupidity of the characters. Now, this isn’t supposed to be an intelligent exercise - it’s a splatterfest. But when you have characters CONSTANTLY making the most unbelievable decisions, it’s hard to give a hoot about them - or for the entire movie, for that matter. I could give you examples of this stupidity, but it’s late and I’m tired. Besides, I don’t think it’s worth spending any more brainpower on this brainless mess.
