All the Boys Love Mandy Lane 2008 Horror Movie Review

At first I thought this was going to be yet another formulaic teen slasher pic. Not so. It goes on that way for a while, but then little hints start to creep in and it quickly becomes apparent that all is not what it at first seems. Great. I love movies like this one. Mandy Lane is a great character and Amber Heard is fantastic in the part, she plays it to perfection.

- I loved how she came across in the interview on the dvd too! So quite totally whacko, like she really, truly fancies herself, so sure of her own attractiveness, whilst appearing to talk nonsense like an airhead, but really if you bother to listen and not be too distracted by her manner, she is really saying something of interest and knows what she is talking about even though you could be forgiven for thinking she doesn’t. I think she’s great and the character of Mandy Lane is great too and Amber plays her so well it’s like it could be an aspect of herself she’s playing. She’s brilliant and so is the movie. I love it.
