CHANDU ON THE MAGIC ISLAND (1935, 70 MINS., B&W) Bela Lugosi, Maria Alba, Murdock MacQuarrie Bela Lugosi stars as Chandu, master of white magic who lives on the mysical island of Lemuria with his sister and nephew. Chandu must protect the Princess Nadji from the cult of Ubasti and their constant efforts to steal her away to release their Goddess’ soul from her body. GHOSTS OF HANLEY HOUSE (1968, 84 MINS., B&W) Elsie Baker, Barbara Chase, Wilkie de Martel, Cliff Scott When five people are called upon to spend the night at Hanley House, they discover more than bizarre furnishings and fantastic wall hangings: the angry ghosts of murder victims make the overnight stay truly horrific. Someone among the guests has been lured there, and has a debt to pay the ghosts.
