A Distant Thunder 2004 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
I have been plegued with images of this movie since I was first sat down to watch it at age 9. I am now 29. I went through my youth, and teenage years scared to death that if I didn’t live my life for god, and I was a sinner I would not be raptured, and I would have to face a desision of either having my head cut off by a guilotine, or denying Christ and going to hell. This movie caused me to do really stupid things, like getting married ASAP because I didn’t want to miss the raputure for committing fornacation. Parents should be arrested for subjecting children to such horrifying images insisting they are real….....Now I would say, god who???...i’ll keep my head thank you very much. But I don’t have to say that because the rapture will never happen…..especially not in any crazy method as shown on this movie. I mean…COME ON PEOPLE….how can grown up, mature adults actually believe this to be positivly true…..revelations is a book of predictions and dreams, not a manual of humanity, and certainly not based on any facts. Do you believe everything your read? HUMANS wrote this book SAYING god told them to do it…...on this theory I am starting a church of Shakespear….he wrote a lot of books too. This is nothing but scare tactics at it’s worst use in this cult you call christianity.
