Review of Candyman (Special Edition)
Helen Lyle is a student who decides to write a thesis about local legends and myths. She visits a part of the town, where she learns about the legend of the Candyman, a man who has a hook shoved in his bloody stump where his hand was cut off. He supposedly appears behind you breathing down your neck when you say his name five times in front of a mirror, ready to gut you from groin to gullet. Of course, Helen doesn't believe all this stuff, but the people of the area are really afraid. When she ignores their warnings and begins her investigation in the places that he is rumored to appear, a series of horrible murders begins. Could the legend be true?
Clive Barker did Hellraiser and Nightbreed, both pretty good movies. But then there is Candyman. It's a pretty good plot and I liked the overall movie, but it just wasnt very exciting and didnt keep my interest too well. It took forever for Candyman to even appear it seemed like, and it just didnt make me very happy with the film.

this movie is one of the best "horror" movies ever.

This is Clive Barker's take on the "Bloody Mary" legend. It revolves around summoning a demon from a mirror. This movie scared the living shit out of me. I had to sleep with the lights on. The only other ghost move that scared me like this was The Eye. It may not be as good overall as Hellraiser, but it's a lot scarier. There may not be many Clive Barker movies, but the few that are out are great.

this movie is one of the scariest ever made!!!! I have seen it ma million times and every time I watch it again it is just a frickin scary!!!!!!!!!

when i was little the movie did scared ma but now i just love i cuz it used to scare me! one of the best horror movie made.

This movie is a classic. Clive Barker is a genius. This movie was the scariest movie i have ever seen unlike exsorcist, that one sucked but Candyman scared the shit outta me.

it is an amazing movie but confusing movie. i think any who likes sacry movies should see this one
