Title: Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004) |
Review of Kill Bill - Volume Two
Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill: Volume 2" picks up right where Volume 1 left off. O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu), her gang, the Crazy 88's and Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) are now deceased. In Volume 2, Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah), Budd (Michael Madsen) and Bill (David Carradine) are the only ones left on the Bride's (Uma Thurman) "Death List".
Volume 2 goes into the story of what actually went down that day during the massacre at the Bride's wedding ceremony. We learn a lot during these scenes and everything starts to make sense. There are many flash back scenes (as well as some hilarious scenes where the Bride is training with Pai Mei). The Bride goes through hell to get revenge on Budd and Elle Driver, (she even gets buried alive!). Everything begins to make sense right up until the face to face confrontation with Bill.
Volume 2, although much softer than Volume 1 (gore-wise) is still pretty violent (especially Daryl Hannah's demise). My favorite scenes in the movie are the training scenes, and when the Bride gets buried alive. Also, look for cameos from Samuel L. Jackson and Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding from House of 1,000 Corpses)! I personally enjoyed Volume 2 more than Volume 1. There really isn't much to say about this movie other than you should definitely go out and buy tickets to it and see it as soon as possible, it definitely lives up to Volume 1!

Oh my fucking god this movie sucked ass, like no other movie has ever sucked before! I loved volume 1, but this was just pure shit! How in the fucking hell did tarantino scrue this movie up, is just beyond me. It's like watching an episode of bold and the beautiful, it's so loooong and booooring. And what's up with that kungfu scene with uma and that old fart? I guess it should be a comedy bit, but it just isn't funny at all. Was uma supposed to move like an old granny? thats the worst "action" scene ever.
And i thought tarantino was back with a vengeance at last (volume 1), but i was wrong. He should be buttfucked so hard that even his relatives won't recognise him... that goddamn shithead.
