Bark Naschy Bark!
If your not a fan of Paul Naschy or have never seen this movie in it's us original title "Werewolf vs. the Vampire woman. Then you might be dissapointed. Paul Naschy is a Spanish horror actor and director from the 70's often called the Spanish Lon Chaney...which let's face it. Is waaaay off. Most of his films are so cheesy they border on just plain stupid. However, every once in a while he made one that, for whatever reasons, was good cheese. They are funny, the plots are usually the same in his werewolf movies, and he flexes his muscles and barks and growls with allot of spit and fur. But ..who cares really...if you want perfection then look elsewhere. Paul Naschy is my favorite person to slur in the whole world..and I like some of his films.
So having said that..this movie is at the top of my Naschy-o-rama beast-vampire chick flicks. It's actually a good looking film. Gothic castles, great looking girls and a humble, reluctant Vladimar Delinski, Velinski..something inski... (his werewolf pseudonym in most his wolf movies) who has to choose to do the right thing to save his love..the girl in the car who he's known for about one night..whom his insane sister tried to rape.
I could go on and on. So out of the 7 or 8 werewolf movies he was in..or made...this one's my favorite. Don't ask me why...I couldn't tell you. Maybe I just love to hate Naschy. Get on the ground and bark like a dog for me Naschy...bark!
I'll buy your werewolf bone shadow. Bark damn you!
