Review of Zombi 2 (25th Anniversary Special Edition 2-Disc Set)
Lucio Fulci directed this unofficial and and very loose sequel to Dawn of the Dead. Tisa Farrow and Ian McCulloch travel to St. Thomas Island in search of Farrow's father and end up battling hordes of the undead. This film is extremely graphic in depicting one woman's eyeball being punctured by a splinter of wood as she's dragged away by the zombies. Another scene has a zombie taking a bite out of a killer shark! Any zombie fan has probably seen this, and if they haven't they should go find it, it's one of the better ones. AKA "The Island Of The Dead", "Zombie 2", and "Zombie Flesh Eaters". Side Note: The opening scene of this film where a person in a bodybag slowly awakes from the dead only to be shot in the head was duplicated in the opening scene of the recent Resident Evil 1 remake for the Gamecube!

i have not seen zombi yet but after hearing that a 2 disk special edition is coming out at the same time dawn of the dead 2003 is i can't wait to own both

This is the slowest pace movie off all cinematic history. This movie is fuckign horrible. Lucio Fulci actually tries to make it a good movie. When we got to the gore i was so mad at how slow and boring the movie was i didnt even care for it.

people who call this movie slow and boring must be joking, or either they're terribly stupid! it might not be the best zombie movie ever, but it's getting damn close!
