The anime Vampire Hunter D is based on the great Vampire Hunter D novels. Vampire Hunter D as the first of the movie adaptations I think was done very poorly. Anime Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is a great movie adaptation.
The vampire/Dhampir/Bounty Hunter, Vampire Hunter D gets put through yet another situation in the near future where he must battle evil vampires and monsters.
