Renaissance 2006 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
a very dark black and white basic philosophical dilemma. seeking the answer to keep life going on forever. the end justifies the means and vice versa. there’re no absolute bad and evil guys here. everybody wants to live as long as possible, seeking the final elixir of anti-aging formula. everybody loves the paradise, but nobody wants to go there sooner. is there really a fountain of youth out there that we just fail to find it?
a hard-working honest paris police captain…everybody around the eiffel tower speaking in british accent, except that muslim mafia don??
thanks to ibm’s technic support, of course.
but there’s one cliched thing that i’m definitely getting tired of: one man hero, one he-man-like police force. nobody can solve a murder or kidnapping case except him.
i wouldn’t mind this black and white graphic movie might be the last one both in such genre and black-n-white. using the real persons and transforming them into cartoon comic book-like effect. really tired of it even it is becoming a trend. seeing them in tv commercials, sin city, a scanner darkly, and this renaissance. the visual effect actually not very normally comfortable to the eyes.
