Return of the Living Dead Part 2 1987 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
You’d think this one would be just as much fun as the first, but alas, it’s not half as good. This time a cannister containing one of the Trioxin infected undead falls off an army truck and is discovered by neighorhood bullies. Soon it’s open, releasing a slimy looking tar-man zombie (again), and the gas spreads to a nearby cemetary (again). James Karen and Thom Mathews are back in almost identical roles from the first movie, even repeating the same lines at one point and realizing themselves that they’ve been through this before. The gore is good, but the humor and fun of the first one are barely visible throughout this flick. You won’t miss anything if you skip straight to Part 3.

Horror film Return of the Killer Shews stars John Schneider (“Smallville”, “Secret Life of the American Teenager”) James Best (“Dukes of Hazard”, “The Killer Shrews”) and Bruce Davison “X-Men”, “Willard”). This DVD artwork looks a little intense but having not seen the first movie, hoping for the best here.
