Wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst, and definately wasn't a B-movie, great beginning to the RE movies.

RESIDENT EVIL, was so much better than I expected. The movie itself was not just a horror, but a thriller/action film as well. Great combination of these traits, as well as great characters, special effects, plot development, and just plain weirdness, make RESIDENT EVIL truly one of the best horror films ever. I own the first Resident Evil game(got it used), and never got real far, because I got an XBOX around last year when it came out, but now after this movie, I think I might just play the RESIDENT EVIL game more again! The movie really does go along with game nicely. The plot and characters aren't exactly all the same, but the basics are, and it's almost that you'd expect the game came off the MOVIE, instead of vice-versa. If you want a great horror, thriller, or action movie(or all three), rent RESIDENT EVIL-I assure you that you won't be let down. 9/10

this was a great action movie i liked when she stabed his tounge and then that man swung on those pipes and knocked him over.

for me not ever playin the game before it definitly got my attention. and the way it ended i knew there had to be another one in the making. as for the acting two thumbs up. and i definitly wanna go out and buy not just the first movei but the second one as well

i liked this it reminded me of 28days later but it made alot more sence, i loved the slipknot tune at the end it topped of the great movie, there is also a 2nd resident evil, it was a big let down, i fell asleep because i found it so boring :-(

this movie was decent at best but if your so all knowing about all scary movies where the hell are the puppet master movies geniuses those movies rock and are scary (focused on pm cause this only movie worth space wasted on review since idknow how ta email you dumbasses
