Candy Von Dewd 2004 Horror Movie Review

Earthmen are having trouble breeding.  Spaceships filled with men armed with potency pills are scouring the galaxy looking for women to breed with.  We follow the adventures of one such ship.


Our ship finds a planet that is full of women wearing latex bondage-wear.  When they run into trouble, one of them suggests calling Candy Von Dewd to come to their rescue.  Candy spends her time dancing on her ship while hoping she will reach the men in time.


In the end we have to wonder what is going on.  Candy does not do anything.  Potency pills apparently kill the user.  Was the mission successful or not?  The ship scenes and crew interaction seem to have been inspired but Dark Star (but not done as well).  The psychedelic nature of the film seems to have been crafted by someone who had heard of the term but didn’t know what it meant.  By the way, the costume malfunction was on Candy and not one of the planet residents as mentioned in another review.


I am not sure that any viewer could be desperate enough to enjoy this film.
