Blood Soaked Cinema: A Taste of Evil 2005 Horror Movie Review
Horror movies Review
A TASTE OF EVIL is a mix of horror and sci-fi films. One odd man out worth mentioning is “How Awful About Alan,” an Aaron Spelling made-for-TVer about a man with psychosomatic blindness who’s convinced that someone is trying to kill him. This is more of a mystery film than anything, and a rather tepid one at that.
“The Brain that Wouldn’t Die” is the famous disembodied head in a pan of water later copied in the sci-fi spoof “Mars Attacks!”
The “Giant Leeches” are typically fakey-looking Roger Corman creations. This movie has the appearance of being filmed at a swimming pool overgrown with shrubbery.
The rest here are the common PD stuff offered on many a DVD box set.
