From the makers of Dynasty Warriors comes Crimson Sea 2. Koei’s engine that allows large numbers of units on one screen at a time survives yet another game with more compelling game play.

Crimson Sea 2 has the problem of a rigid mission structure while sending you through the same dungeons multiple times. The game play is fun and allows you to decimate multiple foes all on screen one after the other in similar fashion to Dynasty Warriors. The different levels of overdrive allow from juggling foes in the air to becoming invincible or allowing you to slowdown the battle. However the camera will mess up the great game play. The developer tries to disguise the grotesque camera by making you manage two camera buttons plus a radar map instead of working to improve the camera. A lot of times the lock-on feature screws up thus messing up the game play once again.

Despite multiplayer features and the addition of an additional player, this game just doesn’t have what it take even though it has a lot of potential.
