Review of Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc
This game is a true diamond in the rough. Even though it has a very lack luster visual presentation, it still brings you back to what really matters in a game; the game play.
Besides the usual hack and slash action, you can switch heroes and then level them up like Diablo. The command system is very rough and simple as in features. After leveling up your heroes, you get new abilities to eradicate your foes on the battlefield. Levels are never stale due to the changing of your objectives such as assaulting or defending castles to battling it out over gigantic battlefields.
This game has great potential. The animations are jerky, graphics are unpolished and the AI could use a lot of work. However it is worth the $30 purchase but definitely look at for the next installment.
