Review of Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution
Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution has moderate graphics, the storyline is disjointed and the menu system is a little shaky.
There is no dungeon crawling, exploring between battles and no real-time combat. It’s more like a Yu-Gi-Oh Online game in a good way. You can choose to be a weapon-wielding Hunter or a creature summoning Arkz.
Once the fight starts, it is divided into three phases where you would play your cards, move and attack (in that order). This may sound like a bore but it actually is the secret behind a great game play in which no battle will ever be the same.
Although the visual and audio aspects could have been better, the concept and overall gameplay can become somewhat highly enjoyable and surprisingly additive.
