So I was just watching the MTV Movie Awards and saw Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart win best kiss and it got me thinking about Twilight. Alot of people dont like it because the vampires sparkle, and I just wondered what everyone here thinks about the saga. Personally I enjoy it, regardless of vampires that sparkle in the sun, run around in forests and generally act more like fairies than the blood sucking fiends from other vampire movies. What about all of you?

Well... I hate the saga personally... It has too many fangirls following it, and too many fangirls, can ruin even the best of things.

I would probably still hate it. I just can't handle the perspective it is written in. Whiny, "nobody understands me," teenage girl gets old fast.

Hahahaha... I remember something similar... Like how Harry Potter is about how to overcome diversity and face great odds, and Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend :/

Yeah... Being in a relationship isn't all THAT important. Especially in the age group that the book is written to target. Prepubescent girls, and adult women that never grew out of fairy tales.

I agree, the age group the book is written for definately shouldnt see relationships as so important. But once you get older... and maybe grow out of fairy tales...

I personaly think that the series sucks but the books are good (yay for books!)

Yeah, from what Ive seen peoples problem with it most of the time is either the fangirls or the sparkles... Personally... I dont think the sparkling is that bad... kinda stupid, but its too small a thing to stop me from enjoying the movies/books...
