I have a few questions -Jackie, perhaps you could answer as you seem the most knowledgable and approachable .
Firstly, I mean no disrespect by these questions, they are honestly born out of fascination and intense curiosity.
You are all vampires? What is your definition of a vampire? Is this just a hunger for blood or possesion of 'supernatural' abilities? I get the feeling that some people on these forums are a vampire purely because they have 'decided' they want to be a vampire (does that make sense?) - again, no offense intended. What really defines a vampire?
I have loads of other questions so hope to receive a response. Thanks .

Trust me, I know you mean no disrespect and believe me, youre not disrespecting me any. A vampire, defined by me, is a being that has been recently dying and has been bitten by a vampire thus changing them. But there are other ways to define a vampire too. It can be either the hunger for blood or the possession of the abilities. Or it could be both. ~Goddess of the Night. Elder to my own~

I just have a question, and Jackie you seem like you are easiest to ask... Since I was born I have liked the taste of blood and would bite my sister constantly. I then lost any memory of my childhood until I was attacked and bitten while walking home at the age of 10... Now, I feel better once I am able to like take the energy of my roommate, since I go to boarding school... I feel like I'm out of place in there, and was wondering if there was an explanation

Sounds like psychic vampirism. Well, with a taste for blood, which is not uncommon, even among normal humans, blood fetishes have existed for millenia because of it

Thank you so much.. I am new to the whole idea of vampirism, in any form... I was raised in a very religious backround, so is there more you can tell me about all of this?
