I think that it will be good. I have really high expectations for this movie because this is my all time favorite movie series. I loved Freddy Kruegers high jinks, sarcasm and the cool kill scenes.

Heather Langenkamp as Nancy was excellent. I saw the trailer for this remake, it seems scary enough, but I'm always disappointed with remakes of classics , for example The Amityville Horror with Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George as George and Kathy Lutz was a complete jackass casting job, I hated that movie, love the original with Margot Kidder and James Brolin.

Not a bad movie but not a really good one either. It was ok.
