For me its movies that represent the feelings of hopelessness and how a seemingly benign situation can explode into chaos before you can actually comprehend whats going on. Also the ends that people will go to to survive...and actually having their mind snap in the process.
posted on 07-11-2010 01:54 am Plenty of twists and turns in a sick,can't turn away but should to hide. I love my horror movies BLOODY! The more guts and gore, the happier I am. Just a hint of strangeness or eerieness makes me jump. Horror movies are all I can stand to watch all day and night. If it's a blood fest about werewolves, I'm there.

posted on 07-11-2010 07:47 pm i like horror movies with a twisted plot where you never can guss what will happen next. what makes them better is if they have grussome scenes that make the pit of your stomach twist and squirm in absolut horror.

posted on 07-13-2010 01:32 pm A great horror movie needs two technical but very effective things. SOUND EFFECTS and great EDITING. The sound effects are the biggest part. Some may not realise it but watch your favorite horror movies and watch it on mute. Its not that scary anymore. But put the sound on and you see that all the little whispers in the bg or all the creaks from the wooden floor add to the horror and suspense.
