We just updated our header so it should be easier to see what can be done on the site and that should remove the newbie feeling.
You can make friends, send private messages, participate in the forum, comment on nearly everything, create journals/blogs and you can also earn the title of biggest horror fan by logging every movie, book and game that you have ever interacted with.
