LeatherFace
Was LeatherFace truly based on a real serial killer? They say that "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is based on a true story. What does the
HellHorror.com Community have to say about this?

well it is " based" on a true Story namely the serial Killer Ed Gein of which there is a documentary about on the 2nd disc of the 2 disc
special edition set of the TCM remake. Numerous films have found insperation from aspects of the Ed Gein case Psycho and Silence of the Lambs to name
two.

gunnar hanson is leatherface in the original, it wasn't black and white and it wasn't a tuxedo. it was just a suit coat and tie that he wears at the
end
I calculated the odds of this succeeding versus the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead anyway.
