I would like some opinions on this movie. I saw it and liked it alot i do believe in demons and domonic possesion so i do believe that the house was
haunted
what do you think?

the whole thing was proven to be a hoax back in the 80's
the guy killing his family in the beginning may have been true, but the haunting and [Censored] was made up
I calculated the odds of this succeeding versus the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead anyway.

Ya i think it was made up to, the guy really did kill his family and told the courts that a demon told him to. I think he was just crazy

The new one is ok, except that whole Jeremiah Ketchem thing seemed a little cheesy. Part of the appeal of the original was it left you wondering
WHY.
And George Lutz cooked that story up over a bottle of wine with his lawyer because they'd gotten in over their heads with the house and needed an
out. Ronnie Defeo is the only person who knows what happened in that house the night his family died. He's never told anyone though people have
offered him crazy [Censored] for the story, and he probably never will tell.
