The next edition of FANGORIA’s Weekend of Horrors will be held September 24-25 at the Meadowlands Crowne Plaza Hotel, our first show on the
East Coast in nearly two years. Early guests so far include:
Clive Barker: The master filmmaker (HELLRAISER, CANDYMAN, LORD OF ILLUSIONS) and author (WEAVEWORLD, ABARAT) makes his first New York convention
appearance in over a decade!
John Landis: Theveteran director of such blockbuster horror films and comedies (AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, INNOCENT BLOOD, ANIMAL HOUSE, THE
BLUES BROTHERS, TRADING PLACES) makes his first-ever East Coast convention appearance!
MASTERS OF HORROR Panel: A special presentation with incredible guests from the new Showtime horror series, uniting legendary fear filmmakers John
Carpenter, George Romero, Joe Dante, Mick Garris, Stuart Gordon, Don Coscarelli, Dario Argento and others.
THE FOG Panel: Behind the screams with big guests and advance footage of the latest Hollywood remake, this one a revamp of the ’80s classic
John Carpenter film. The new version stars Tom (SMALLVILLE) Welling, Maggie (LOST) Grace and Selma (HELLBOY) Blair.
SAW II Panel: Meet the creators and stars from the sequel to last year’s surprise smash.
FEAST Panel: From the tempestuous Weinstein brothers comes this eagerly anticipated horror opus, the subject of the last PROJECT GREENLIGHT. Appearing
at the convention will be quirky director John Gulager and his legendary father, actor Clu Gulager, best remembered for the original RETURN OF THE
LIVING DEAD.
Emily Perkins: The star of the popular GINGER SNAPS trilogy and Stephen King’s IT attends her first-ever convention.
Tom Savini: The master of macabre makeup (FRIDAY THE 13TH, DAWN OF THE DEAD, CREEPSHOW) returns to the Fango stage to recount his experiences on LAND
OF THE DEAD.
Independent Directors Panels: Meet both veteran filmmakers like Jeff (SQUIRM) Lieberman, Roy (STREET TRASH) Frumkes and Larry (WENDIGO) Fessenden, as
well as new talents Ti (THE ROOST) West, Dave (ZOMBIE HONEYMOON) Gebroe and Dante (SATAN’S PLAYGROUND) Tomaselli.
