How do you put up your OWN avatar? I've tried putting the url to the avatar I want to use into the "Avatar URL" area in my profile, and it won't
show up. Do you need a certain amount of posts before you can use an avatar that is outside of the Avatar Gallery?
Also, are there any limitations on how old a topic can be before you are NOT allowed to post in it anymore? Because there's a ton of topics that are
from last year, and that I would like to reply to, but I don't want to get into trouble, as I have before for doing such a thing on other forums.

The avatars allowed are only the ones in the avatar gallery to select from. Off site avatars will not show up. You send me the link in a U2U message
for the image and I may consider it.
As for Topics, as of writing this article, there is no penalty on posting in olf forums. Post anywhere and everywhere is relevant info.
